If people know your game plan they will destroy you. Deception throws them off and leads them astray.
Deception is the act of causing someone to accept as true or valid what is false or invalid – the act of deceiving. Deception can be thought of in terms of how a pimp forces another person into prostitution through deception. It’s called the game. The pimp game can be seen as predation because women and children are used in human trafficking and sexual exploitation.
I will never promote the actions of pimps, however in a business world, their philosophy and ideology go hand-in-hand with the street mindset that’s needed to navigate the shark infested waters of commerce.
According to the philosophy of pimpology, there are only two types of people in life, pimps and ho’s. It is up to a person to decide which role one is going to play in the game. Deception used with the right philosophy can be an art form.
The game of life will place you around those who live by following the rules and regulations of deception. The predators in this game will eat you alive if you are not prepared. My advice is to never feel that you must justify mastering skills that help you wage war on your adversary. Deception is a skill you need to play this game.
In my youth, my grandfather would say to never let your left hand know what your right hand was doing. I was too inexperienced back then to overstand what he meant. I thought it meant not to snitch. However, over time his words took root and have guided me in very dark times through some of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make.
A nugget of truth that I took away from his words were that I must become a man that knew what others were thinking without exposing what I was thinking. I needed to become skilled at assessing the needs and vulnerabilities of others. Understanding how to fulfill those unmet needs and exploit those vulnerabilities would allow me to outmaneuver my opponent and eventually have their actions work for me. I had to learn how and when to deceive.
Pimpology focuses on using different methods to exploit women and children to deceive them into working to maintain a pimp’s extravagant lifestyle. Regular life for the rest of us is no different. We might apply its ideology differently, but the pimpology behind our thoughts and actions are the same, to persuade and exploit others by different ways to do what we want.
A persuasive message is one of the greatest qualities for a successful human chess player to master. When you possess charisma, people will fall in love with you. They will submit to your will. They will seek you out and join your team.
Many entrepreneurs in business use the promise of financial success and prosperity to lure investors to support them. The game of persuasion can also be seen in social validation which is a form of persuasion that by acceptance and inclusion allows a person to be validated as someone of importance. Some folks want a sense of belonging and a need for motivative speaking so they seek out people who can persuade them to make better choices, eliminate habits, and take responsibility for things they otherwise wouldn’t do.
When you give someone hope for the future and take them from their meager existence bringing their dreams into reality you become a changing agent in their lives and your persuasiveness plays a role in the overall game of deception.
Governments are the biggest deceivers of all. In American society, our politics, our values, our way of life is the biggest game out there. For example, year after year we send our youth to police the world, fight our wars, and to die in foreign lands for democracy. In our eyes every soldier is a hero/shero for their service, but who are they serving? What war in the last century hasn’t been fought protecting American interests or for acquiring resources, or overthrowing a regime that didn’t submit to our demands?
Can honor be found in the act of war, in killing, in occupation, or in dying for a threat that never existed? When has there ever been an honest war? See the deception even in the idea of patriotism. Maybe it is in our beliefs honor is found and not in the actions from those beliefs.
Deception is so slippery. It lies in the moment we attempt to justify killing another person, even if the reason is to preserve our way of life.
As long as our beliefs are not challanged it is easy to believe that we are doing the right thing.
Many people believe in serving a higher purpose even when their act of service includes hurting someone else in the process. Men and women can also be deceived by their own beliefs, willingly deceiving one another to their own detriment. When not mastered, deception can expose our wickedness. A person can be motivated to do unspeakable things. The truth about deception is that its use shines light on the devil in us all.
Every person in every country has in one way or another been seduced by the deception. We buy into our national ideology because it gives us a way to be a part of something. We have to drink the kool-aid or we risk becoming outcasts from our society.
Capitalism and the pursuit of happiness and money is religion for many. People will say that they are on their grind and chasing their bread but what are they really saying? They believe that grinding and chasing money will bring them closer to what they want and need, but…
The foundation of our global monetary system is deception on a global scale. If money is an idea, and it has no real value, it is just an agreed upon system of exchange. The decision to use money as legal tender gives it artificial value. That value decreases everytime our governments and banks manipulate the monetary system to create more fiat currency.
Persuading you to be deceptive isn’t a realistic solution. I want you to master it. You must come to terms with how you will master it on your own. Many will never master it and will therefore become a casuality of its use by those who have. The better move is to respect it as an artform, master its use, and then apply it to situations for your advancement.
The game of life is won by those who can balance their integrity and values with ruthlessness and gile to see several moves ahead of their adversaries. If you can see those moves and then hide them from sight you gain a powerful advantage over those who challenge you.
My hope is to get you thinking about all the may ways you are deceiving others and constantly being deceived by others. Get in the habit of being cautious. Expose the deception in your daily life so that you may master it to use as a driving force of good.
