The more you lie, the easier it becomes to lie and the more comfortable you become when lying to yourself or others. I’m a liar. I lie daily, even to myself. I lie in every possible facid of my life.
Tony Montana said: “I always tell the truth even when I lie.” There hasn’t been a day I haven’t lied about something even while being truthful and choosing to withhold a few key details.
We all lie. At one point in time we have all lied about something to protect the feelings of our family members, to get out of going to work, to allow our children to believe in imaginary magical beings. I’m sure there r plenty arguably sound reasons to justify telling them.
However, at the end of the day it’s still a lie. U r still a liar. When we lie enough our lies begin to become heavy burdens to carry. We might even ask others to perpetuate the lie by lying for us or simply withholding the truth.
The more we lie the harder it becomes to tell the truth and we become slaves to those lies. How expensive a price can be to buy one’s freedom from lies of our own creation…
